Mohammad R. Parsa, DPM
Mohammad Parsa, DPM is a podiatric physician and board-certified podiatric surgeon with 30 years of experience, and particular interest in reconstructive surgery, podiatric biomechanics, sports medicine, diabetic wound care, and pediatric foot conditions.
Dr. Parsa earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He then attended medical school at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now known as Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, OH., where he graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1993. Dr. Parsa completed his postgraduate training in 1995 with a residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center East Hospital (formerly Park Medical Center) in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Parsa is board certified (Diplomate), by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine. He is licensed to practice in both Mississippi and Georgia. He is affiliated with several hospitals in MS, including Merit Health River Oaks, and Merit Health Women’s Hospital in Flowood, Merit Health Madison in Canton, and Surgicare of Jackson (Ambulatory Surgical Center).
He is fluent in both English and Farsi.
